How to communicate and cooperate with home textile factories for small orders?
As the head of a home textile company for many years, you should never ask how much a blanket costs. Or how much is a cushion? How much is a floor mat? We will directly judge that you are a novice. Home textile factory is different from wholesale. Wholesalers know their cost prices, while factory prices should be calculated according to customers’ requirements.
Can have a clear idea of their own design and process, a design process to change, not only waste boring and artificial time, run-in is very laborious.
Fabric is the most important factor affecting the price, followed by style and technology. You need to provide picture sample clothes to let the manufacturer know the style, if the packaging material also needs to provide fabric composition and sample, or explain the grade of fabric to the manufacturer, and explain the quantity and the requirement of quality and workmanship whether it needs to make a plate. According to your requirements, the factory can estimate a price, but the final price can only be determined after the plate is made and the quality sample is made.
In fact, many customers who cooperated with us for the first time had no idea about the price range of their own products, so it was difficult for us to find raw materials for them in the corresponding range, and the follow-up communication was troublesome.
Time planning is very important for both the customer and the factory. For the new planning of their own products, the factory will also cooperate with your time for production and shipment. The basic quality of the factory is punctual, so there is no need to worry about the factory’s delayed shipment due to subjective reasons.
It is suggested that you should not easily press the price with the factory, and always believe that a point of price is a point of goods. Sometimes the factory agrees with you at a price lower than normal, which may lead to the situation that the quality department guarantees and increases the price when taking delivery. There is also a suggestion to ask manufacturers to see the picture of the quotation, this is very reliable. If the manufacturer looks at your picture and gives you an offer easily without asking for your location or fabric composition, the after-effects must be enough for you to suffer. Then either your quality department is satisfied or you may be overpriced by the factory.
